Outfit Post – A Jumpsuit For Incubus

Last Friday, the hubby, photographer Kurt Paris launched Incubus – a photographic exhibition of artistic nudes. The exhibition is currently exhibiting at Opus 64 Galerie, Sliema (right next to Lady Di Pub) and ends 15th November Opening hours Mon – Sat 10:00 – 13:00 & 16:30 – 19:00.
You might recall me once having mentioned that River Island had bought a print of one of Kurt’s photos from a shoot we worked on together and produced a line of printed t-shirts using this photo. I thought it was fitting to wear this t-shirt for his exhibition; t-shirt also worn here
I paired it with a jumpsuit I bought from Zara a few months ago that has a really cool loose, slouchy upper part, a pair of killer heels and some statement jewellery. Now this might seem like a normal state of events but actually it isn’t, this is my first jumpsuit ever..I don’t generally buy them or wear them. I don’t feel like they flatter my body, I feel like they accentuate my worst features (my hips) and eliminate my best (my waist) …however, I liked this one when I tried it on..enough to buy it. My take on the matter is that because the top isn’t fitted, it balances out the bottom better..either way.. I now own a jumpsuit.

As you may have noticed, I’m also sporting shorter straight hair..my hair was given a very much needed trim by the super Matthew at Toni and Guy Hilton and then blowdried into a straight finish by Kurt Micallef.
Another note of mention is my bangle. This is from an interesting boutique store I’ve recently come across that I am presently collaborating with in various ways – Bling Bling, they’ve got some exciting leather bags (lovely leather) and some exciting jewellery, including the Fiorelli range, check them out on facebook.
T-Shirt – River Island
Bangle – Bling Bling
Jumpsuit – Zara
Shoes – BCBG MAXAZARIA
Necklace – Old Spitalfields Market

The exhibition launch was great and there was an excellent turnout, I can’t really review my husband’s work myself but I will just say he has impressed me with this project and wives are not easy to impress 🙂
Kurt’s Words about Incubus

“The human body can be the most graceful sculpture, and can cause the most haunting desires. Using a pinhole technique, which captures only a blurred snapshot of my memory, incubus represents the angels and the demons inside every one of us.”

You can see some more photos taken at the exhibition here.
