il-Klikka : Final Words from Taryn aka Sarah DeGiorgio

With season 3 of il-Klikka ending a few weeks ago, (I have been the show’s stylist since the show’s inception), I have decided to interview some of the principal actors and actresses (the main characters) for their final thoughts.

Today we meet fantastic actress Taryn aka Sarah DeGiorgio (as she is known on klikka) who is as lovely in real life as she is on screen and in her own words, here are her final thoughts:

il-Klikka is now coming to an end…how does that make you feel? Relieved / sad
or a combination of the two?

Il-Klikka occupied a big part of my life these past two years. Joining
the cast at the young age of 18, I was the youngest member of the original
cast. Instantly the other girls took me under their wing and suddenly I had 5
elder sisters to guide me, give me advice and share life lessons with me
through their experiences.

It was great! In these two years so much has changed
and I’m more than grateful to have had such a supportive second family to see
me through it 🙂 It feels strange to have more time on my hands now but I will
definitely miss it!

The show probably took up a lot of your free time…do you feel that it
was all worth it?
Filming takes up more time than people would imagine but multitasking
got me through it. There were days where I would go from university lectures at
8am to my part-time job and straight to filming, finish at 2 am and do it all
over again the next day. Some days it would get to me but the final product and
the enthusiasm and praise our audience showed us made it all worthwhile.
Your funniest memory?
The crew loved to prank me on set so I have too many funny moments to
pick one!
Your saddest memory?
The end of the season was definitely a low point. When you’ve been part
of a production for so long, you start to take the things around you for
granted.

At the end of this season, I realized that I might not be seeing these
people on a daily basis anymore.

It just hit me and it was heart breaking.

Your favourite part about playing Sarah?
Sarah was quite a likeable character who grew as a person throughout the
3 seasons. Her relationship with Andrea was definitely my favourite part
because he brought out the emotional side of her which challenged me beyond my
comfort zone.
Since this is a fashion blog….will you miss Sarah’s clothes? Favourite
outfit worn?
Sarah and I have very different styles so I admit I will be missing some
of the outfits but not all.

My favourite outfit was a yellow top and dark
trousers I had worn in the first season but I also loved the pale dress I wore
for the engagement scene in season 3.

Do you feel Sarah got the life she deserved or do you think she was
unlucky?
Sarah was always cautious and wise about her decisions. She didn’t let
people in easily so I think she was very unlucky to have fallen in love with
such a complicated person and even more unlucky to have had the burden to bear
his child alone and away from her loved ones. I feel she deserved a much better
and peaceful life.

Hope you enjoyed reading that.. I am certainly missing them all!!!
