Beauty : Summer Pedicure

Whilst great sandals are something I believe every woman should own, they’re worth nothing without great-looking feet inside of them. By great-looking feet, I mean no dry skin, clean and nicely-shaped toenails and ideally, also, fabulously painted. Travelling always causes havoc to my feet leaving them looking anything but stylish so I tend to plan a pedicure to coincide with my return. This time I visited Ayur Veda in Santa Venera – the same salon that specialises in eyebrow threading that I’ve talked about here.

This was actually one of my best pedicures to date, the therapist really took an interest in my poor feet and spent some time discussing and analysing my toenails (which have been having some issues lately). As colours, I chose a combination of pink and gold – two of my favourite colours.

Of course after the pedi, it was time to wear some of my favourite shoes – my platform Birkenstocks which, by the way, are now on sale at Stivaletti so if you still haven’t bought yourself a pair, this is your chance.
