Shopping Post : Wearing Skirts in Winter

I love wearing skirts and dress, both long and short. When the cold Winter arrives, I hate putting them away but at the same time, I am one of those people who is constantly freezing so something had to be done.

I discovered these thermal fleece-lined tights last year, and they are absolutely wonderful. When worn, they look exactly like normal, opaque tights but since they are fleece-lined, they keep you warm and toasty in the cold weather. They can be found both in full leg or footless versions, I tend to prefer the footless versions and I wear them with thick woolen socks. After some washing and wearing, they do tend to get a bit bubbly but you can either just replace them (they’re cheap!) or wear a ‘normal’ pair of tights on top of them.

I’ve bought a few pairs both from Primark and also from Ebay. You can find them in different colour options: flesh, purple, black, navy and even some patterned ones.
