Outfit Post: Dress and Shoes at Malta Fashion Week

From the outfits I’ve been wearing it might appear as though the temperature is really warm, the truth is that at Ft St Angelo whilst watching a show and experiencing a lovely full-on blast of shore wind I’ve developed goose pimple patterns worthy of going to print.

But I digress, this is an outfit post and not a whiny post and I could always just wear a frigging jacket like a normal sane person. So this outfit has something a bit special on my feet. Those amazing, amazing shoes were customised just for me. This girl, DESIREE, who exhibited in conjunction with ALDO at Fashion Week can customise different shoes according to your request personality and likes and dislikes. The quality of her work is really really impressive which well and truly is the most important thing – patterns are changeable and subjective to what the individual likes.
I decided to leave Desiree free to do whatever she wants with these little babies which btw are from ALDO. The result can be seen below, apparently she spent ages trying to figure out my character before she decided what to do.
After I saw the shoes well an outfit had to be created around them. I think this dress by Elisabetta Franchi from Rebelli is just perfect, it’s elegant and simple but at the same time has that lovely Italian design that she is so renowned for. The best part is that the top and skirt can actually be separated and worn separately.
I paired the entire outfit with a vintage Etro bag and decided to leave it free from jewellery – just simple and clean. Let me know what you think .
